Importing contacts in bulk

The Contacts importer accepts CSV files and maps columns to ItzSEO contact fields (name, email, phone, lifecycle stage, tags). It previews every row before commit so you can fix mistakes upstream.

How to import

1. Open Contacts and click Import CSV.
2. Download the template if you don’t already have a file.
3. Upload your CSV. ItzSEO auto-detects column headers.
4. Verify the mapping panel — drag any column to the right field if mis-detected.
5. Click Preview to see the first 10 rows as they’d be created.
6. Confirm. Invalid rows are flagged in the preview; the importer skips them.

What if

• Duplicates? The importer matches by email — existing contacts are skipped, not overwritten.
• Tags? Comma-separated in a single column — “hot,enterprise” becomes two tags.
