Settings → Departments page

Owner-only page where departments themselves are defined. Pre-seeded with 7 standard departments (Web Design, SEO, etc.) plus an HR slot — you can add more, rename, archive unused ones.

Add a department

1. Click + New department.
2. Name + colour (used in chips and headers).
3. Toggle Has branches on if you want sub-disciplines (like SEO’s 4 branches).
4. Toggle HR department on if members of this dept should get HR permissions.

To assign people to the new department, head over to Settings → Team — the “Assign members →” link in the top-right gets you there.
