Changing a member's role
How to promote, demote, or change someone's workspace or project role.

Workspace and project roles are separate. Workspace role (OWNER / ADMIN / EDITOR / WRITER / VIEWER / CLIENT) gates everything in the workspace; project role (per-project) controls what they can do inside one project.
Change workspace role
- Owner-only. Go to Settings → Team.
- Find the member, open their row menu.
- Pick the new role and confirm.
Change project role
- Open the project, click Members.
- Click the role chip next to the member; pick a new one from the dropdown.
